Directions: Take MN-169 east through the town of Ely (named Sheridan Street in town) and continue east on this road for 16 miles. After passing Tofte Lake Center on the left, we are the next place on the left, Northwind Lodge and Fernberg Gallery. If you see Canadian Border Road you have passed us.
Parking Instructions: Enter our gravel road at the Northwind Lodge sign (10 mph please) and drive downhill, passing two houses on the left. You will see the office / gallery on the right, a large building. Park across from that building and check in there. After check in you will drive to your cabin.
Check in is 3-5PM standard, but later is fine. You can call ahead 218-365-5489 and let us know your ETA since we may be working somewhere on the property instead of in the office. You may text Sally at 218-235-9341 if needed.
Reminders: All bedding is provided as well as kitchen equipment, dishes, dish and hand soap, and toilet paper. We can provide towels for $40. Each cabin has a picnic table and a grill. Food, ice, fishing licenses, and anything else you may want to purchase is available in the town of Ely, 16 miles away. We try to keep ice stocked in summer but can’t guarantee it.
